The operation period will run from July 31 to October 2, excluding days when the course is closed. During vulnerable hours (from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.), an ambulance and emergency medical technician will be stationed on site. This system is designed to enable a rapid emergency response in the event of health issues such as heatstroke or dehydration.
This measure is being evaluated as a proactive response to ensure the health and welfare of park golf users and is expected to serve as a model for heatwave response for local public enterprises nationwide.
President Lim Myungjin stated, "We have implemented early opening and safety measures to minimize inconvenience for park golf users caused by the heatwave and to ensure they can enjoy park golf in a more comfortable and safe environment. We will continue to prioritize citizen-centered operations and do our utmost to respond to heatwaves."
