Gyeonggi Yeoncheon County announced on July 30 that it held a special lecture on July 28 as part of the Educational Development Special Zone pilot project, inviting Professor Lee Yunho from the Department of Bioengineering at CHA University to speak on the topic of "Current Trends and Prospects in Domestic Green Bio Research."

This special lecture was organized as part of Yeoncheon County's ongoing efforts to establish a foundation for the green bio industry and foster local talent. The event attracted significant interest from local farmers and professionals working in the green bio industry.

During the lecture, Professor Lee Yunho provided an in-depth introduction to the latest research trends in the domestic and international green bio industry, promising technologies and future high-potential occupations, and the potential for utilizing Yeoncheon County's biological resources. He particularly emphasized that the county's natural resources and biodiversity could serve as a crucial foundation for the development of the bio industry.

A Yeoncheon County official stated, "Through this special lecture, local residents have gained a better understanding of the green bio industry. Moving forward, we plan to expand lectures by inviting various experts and to offer hands-on educational programs to nurture talent for the Yeoncheon County green bio industry."

Meanwhile, this special lecture was conducted in connection with the Yeoncheon County Educational Development Special Zone project. It will continue to be operated alongside career education related to the bio industry, startup support, and practical talent development programs.
