BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seongbin) announced on July 30 that it will hold the "Kkumdamgi (Company that Contains Dreams)" career experience program at the Busan Bank headquarters for three days, from July 30 to August 1.
The "Kkumdamgi" career experience is an educational program that has been carried out since 2019 through a business agreement between Busan Bank and the Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education, aiming to foster future talent in the local community and to promote career education.
The participants are 36 high school students with career aspirations in the financial sector, selected by the Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education. The program provides a variety of activities that reflect the latest trends in the financial industry, including a virtual experience at a financial institution, a mock investment competition, and a financial quiz event.
Moon Jeongwon, Chief Consumer Officer (CCO) of Busan Bank, stated, "I hope that the youth who are moving toward the future will discover their dreams and boldly pursue their own paths through the 'Kkumdamgi' career experience program," and added, "We will continue to expand career experience programs to further the development of local education."
Busan Bank operates a variety of educational programs, including financial education for vulnerable groups, BIFC financial lectures, and the operation of a financial history museum.
In recognition of these efforts, the bank has received the "Education Mecenat Top" award for 17 consecutive years in the field of educational donation projects, and has been designated as a "Certified Institution for Career Experience in Educational Donation" by the Ministry of Education and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
