This inspection was a preparatory measure for the 'FC Barcelona Asia Tour First Match' friendly game scheduled for July 31. The match, featuring the world-renowned club FC Barcelona and FC Seoul, is expected to attract approximately 60,000 spectators.
On this day, Mayor Park, relevant public officials, and representatives from the Seoul Facilities Management Corporation focused on inspecting the installation status of key facilities such as the stage, safety fences, and barricades. They also checked in advance the current status of safety personnel, deployment plans, and operational systems. In addition, they thoroughly reviewed the adequacy of the spectator entry and exit routes and the response plans in case of emergencies.
On the day of the match, the district plans to strengthen entrance safety monitoring and on-site patrol activities, while also conducting crackdowns on illegal parking and street vendors around the stadium.
Mayor Park Kangsoo stated, "Since this is a large-scale event with many spectators, we will do our utmost to ensure that both residents and visitors can enjoy a safe and pleasant experience."
