Changwon Academy's First Lecture, Cha Inpyo's Book Concert Opens Successfully

May Someone's Day Become a Comfort to Us All

Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam successfully concluded the first lecture of the "2025 Changwon Academy" with the book concert "Their Day," featuring author Cha Inpyo and pianist Moon Aram, at the Seongsan Art Hall. More than 500 citizens attended the event.

At the lecture held on July 29, Cha Inpyo shared his thoughts and insights on life gained through his career in the entertainment industry, volunteer work, and overseas relief activities. Focusing on his recently published book "Their Day," he conveyed messages of hope and courage found in the quiet daily lives of ordinary neighbors around us.

In particular, Moon Aram's sweet and warm piano performance enhanced the sincerity of Cha Inpyo's stories, enriching the atmosphere and increasing audience engagement. A surprise event was held where small goods were distributed to citizens who actively participated in the lecture, and a lively Q&A session allowed for active communication with the audience.

After the lecture, a citizen who shared concerns and received advice from Cha Inpyo during the Q&A session said, "It was a valuable time to listen to a great lecture," and added, "It became an opportunity to rethink my attitude toward life."

Jeong Sooki, Director of the Autonomous Administration Bureau, stated, "Changwon Academy is a lecture series that provides citizens with opportunities for lifelong learning by sharing knowledge and experience," and expressed hope that "this lecture will serve as a catalyst for many people to achieve new challenges and accomplishments."

Changwon Academy is a leading lifelong learning project representing Changwon City, inviting top lecturers from various fields every year to promote citizens' intellectual growth and cultural maturity. The second lecture will be held on August 21 at the Seongsan Art Hall Small Theater, featuring the art convergence team "Gamgakjuui." The event will present a collaborative performance combining art commentary, piano performance, and poetry recitation under the theme of Van Gogh's artistic world.
