The supplies delivered on this day included daily necessities such as samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup), cup rice, and various side dishes, which were sponsored by HD Hyundai (located in Jeongja-dong) and the HD Hyundai 1% Nanum Foundation through the Seongnam Volunteer Center, as well as excavators.

The city transported and delivered the excavators to Gapyeong County and the daily necessities to Damyang County and other areas, according to the recovery needs of each sister city.

Each relief item will be used for recovery efforts at flood-damaged sites and to support those displaced by the disaster.

Due to the heavy rainfall that continued from July 16 to July 20, Gapyeong County in Gyeonggi Province suffered property damage amounting to 34.6 billion won, seven casualties, and 146 people displaced, while Damyang County in South Jeolla Province experienced property damage of 17.5 billion won.

The government has declared six locations nationwide, including Gapyeong County and Damyang County, as special disaster zones and is providing support such as covering 50% to 80% of recovery costs, as well as deferring national and local tax payments.

Shin Sangjin, Mayor of Seongnam, stated, "Cooperation and support between sister cities during disaster situations will serve as a source of strength to overcome crises, in addition to government-level assistance," and added, "We sincerely hope for a swift recovery in the areas affected by the heavy rainfall and for the displaced residents to return to their daily lives as soon as possible."
