To mark the second hottest day of summer, BBQ carried out a chicken donation in cooperation with Suwon City and the Gyeonggi Province branch of the Korean Red Cross. On the 29th, together with the Suwon City Child Welfare Division, BBQ donated 150 servings of chicken to children in group homes located in Gwonseon-gu, Paldal-gu, Jangan-gu, and Gunpo City. On the 30th, BBQ plans to deliver a total of 230 servings of chicken to child welfare centers, welfare centers for the disabled, and senior welfare centers in Gwangju City, Gyeonggi Province.

The BBQ Chicken University Good Donation program is the flagship social contribution activity of Chicken University, which has continued for 26 years. Franchisees, referred to as "family," who receive pre-opening training at Chicken University, a franchise education facility, personally prepare chicken and donate it to local welfare facilities.

A BBQ representative stated, "The Good Donation program at Chicken University is one of BBQ’s unique social contribution activities aimed at spreading positive influence. We made this donation with the hope of providing some support to neighbors in welfare facilities who are facing even greater hardships due to the record heatwave, and we will continue to carry out various activities in the future."
