Lawyer Kim Soyeon, who began her political career in the Daejeon region and has since made her name known in major domestic issues and incidents, is running for the Supreme Council of the People Power Party. Kim, a native of Daejeon, graduated from Munjeong Elementary School, Tanbang Middle School, and Korea Minjok Leadership Academy, and completed her doctoral coursework at the Chungnam National University Law School. She passed the 5th bar exam and has been active in both the legal and political fields. She previously served as the head of the People Power Party's Yuseong District B (Eul) chapter in Daejeon.
