Delta Force is a next-generation FPS game developed by Team Jade, a studio under Tencent. It features both a large-scale battle mode and a small-scale strategy-based "Beacon Area" mode.

A total of 24 teams will participate in the selection tournament, starting with the preliminary rounds on August 6. In the finals, six teams will compete for a prize of 10 million won and the title of Korean national representatives. The winning team, consisting of three main players and one substitute, will be the sole Korean representative at the DFI finals to be held in Hangzhou, China, in September.

Any Delta Force user born in 2006 or earlier is eligible to apply for the selection tournament, and applications can be submitted through the official Delta Force lounge until August 3.

The matches will be broadcast live on SOOP, with the semifinals on August 9 and the finals on August 10.
