Additional Gifts for Donors... First 150 Participants Only
Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province will hold the "Hometown Love Donation Summer Event" until August 10 in order to widely promote the Hometown Love Donation Program and encourage participation from tourists.
According to the province on July 29, this event will provide an additional popular gift, carefully selected from Jeonbuk, to the first 150 people who donate at least 100,000 won to "Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province - Provincial Office." The gifts consist of local specialties for summer health, such as Chueotang (loach soup) and pre-grilled eel, and will be sent out randomly.
To participate, donors can select "Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province - Provincial Office" on the Hometown Love e-Eum website or through a financial institution app, make a donation, and complete the gift application to be automatically entered.
Those who wish to participate offline can donate at any Nonghyup branch nationwide. The full amount of the 100,000 won donation is eligible for a tax deduction. Winners will be individually notified on August 11, and the gifts will be delivered to the address provided at the time of donation.
Separately from this donation event, the province is also introducing the schedules of major summer festivals in the region for the summer vacation season. Notable examples include the Imsil Cheese Theme Park Aqua Festival, Jeonju Gamak Festival, and Jeongeup Mulbit Festival, where visitors can experience the diverse charms of Jeonbuk.
Lee Jihyung, Director of External Cooperation, said, "This event is designed to allow people to convey their warm hearts to the region through donations and to experience Jeonbuk's excellent local specialties. We hope many people will participate in the Hometown Love Donation Program."
