Singer Lim Youngwoong has decided to release his second full-length album without a CD in order to protect the environment.

On the 29th, his agency Fish Music announced, "Lim Youngwoong's second studio album 'IM HERO 2' will be released in the form of an album book containing photos and messages, instead of a physical album (CD)." The agency explained that this decision was made after considering the impracticality of listening to CDs in the current environment, the burden on fans, and environmental concerns as separate factors.

The album book will include photos of Lim Youngwoong, album credits, handwritten messages, and will be produced as a collectible item. Fish Music stated, "We deeply empathized with the artist's sincere intentions and made this decision together after lengthy discussions," adding, "Although the format has changed, we hope that the emotions and sincerity contained within will reach you even more closely."

This album book will be available for exclusive pre-order at Lim Youngwoong’s official MD store, 'IM HERO Mall', starting at 2 p.m. on the 31st, and will not be counted in album sales charts.

'IM HERO 2' will be released on the 29th of next month.
