"Please Use the Coupons Quickly Within Seongbuk District"
Seongbuk District in Seoul (District Mayor Lee Seungro) has officially launched the 'Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon' campaign to stabilize residents' lives and revitalize local small businesses, actively promoting on-site communication and encouraging coupon use.
Please use the consumer coupons extensively at Seongbuk-gu traditional markets! On the 28th, Lee Seungro, Mayor of Seongbuk District, visited Donam Traditional Market and stated, "The consumption coupon is a practical policy tool that helps stabilize lives and brings warmth to the local economy," adding, "We will do our utmost to ensure smooth distribution and active consumption."
Merchants participating in the campaign said, "We will repay you with quality products and the best service," and urged, "Please use the consumption coupons often at traditional markets." At the site, Mayor Lee used the consumption coupons to purchase fruits and vegetables.
To ensure the smooth distribution and use of the consumption coupons, Seongbuk District has been conducting extensive promotional activities since early this month through its website, notification messages, and social media. The district has also formed a dedicated task force (TF) and set up a call center to respond immediately to residents' inquiries. On-site response centers have been installed at 20 local community centers, with additional staff assigned to guide residents so that no one faces difficulties when applying.
In particular, if residents with mobility difficulties, such as the elderly or people with disabilities, request assistance, staff from the local community center visit their homes to accept applications through the 'Visiting Application Service.' This visiting application service will operate until October this year.
Mayor Lee has also personally visited community centers to check the guidance system and address any inconveniences experienced by residents. He remarked, "Over the weekend, I heard from many residents that they dined out with their families using the consumption coupons. This reminded me of the hard work of all Seongbuk District staff who have prepared so that residents can quickly receive and use the coupons in line with the goal of revitalizing the local economy," and added, "I hope you enjoy evening walks, have late-night snacks, and visit our local traditional markets, which offer plenty to see and experience."
