Pukyong National University (President Bae Sanghun) and the Busan Technology Startup Investment Institute (Director Seo Jonggun) signed a business cooperation agreement on July 25 to promote the local startup ecosystem and enhance startup support.
President Bae Sanghun and Director Seo Jonggun attended the agreement ceremony held at Avani Central Busan, where they agreed to cooperate in nurturing young people as creative and innovative startup talents, supporting the growth of outstanding startup companies, and making Busan a city conducive to starting businesses.
The areas of cooperation between the two institutions include: △ discovering and fostering technology-based startups and prospective entrepreneurs; △ jointly developing and operating startup programs such as entrepreneurship education, mentoring, and investment linkage; △ supporting commercialization of technology startup items and connecting to investment attraction; △ building and revitalizing the local startup network; △ developing and cooperating on policies and systems for the advancement of the local startup ecosystem; △ mutual cooperation on infrastructure and startup support for the advancement of the specialized startup campus Dragon Valley; and △ mutual cooperation on startup support projects such as the RISE Project, Campus Innovation Park, and Startup Incubation Center.
Pukyong National University plans to maximize the outcomes of the "Busan Open Startup Shared University," which it operates in cooperation with Busan Technology Startup Investment Institute, Kyungsung University, Tongmyong University, and Busan Nam-gu Office, thereby creating a synergistic effect in revitalizing the local startup ecosystem.
