- Special Supply on August 4 (Monday), First-Priority Applications on August 5 (Tuesday)... Contracts to Be Signed Over Three Days from August 23 (Saturday) to 25 (Monday)
'Cheongju Centum Prugio Xi', which is expected to become a landmark complex in the Sajik-dong area of Cheongju as it transforms into a new city with approximately 14,000 households, attracted significant attention from prospective buyers as soon as its model house opened.
On July 25 (Friday), when the model house for 'Cheongju Centum Prugio Xi' opened, about 11,000 people visited over the three-day opening period. Despite the midday high temperatures reaching 36 to 37 degrees Celsius, long queues formed even before the opening, and the interior, featuring scale models and sample units, was crowded with visitors. The consultation desks were also bustling all day with prospective applicants seeking information about the application schedule and pricing, demonstrating the project's popularity.
'Cheongju Centum Prugio Xi' stands out as the fastest-moving project among Cheongju's largest urban regeneration districts, offering a first-mover advantage. With construction led by two of Korea's leading builders, Daewoo E&C and GS E&C, the site, future value, product quality, and symbolic significance have all drawn high interest from buyers. Visitors who toured the model house expressed satisfaction with the diverse unit designs catering to various lifestyles, as well as the upscale community facilities and landscaping, and many actively indicated their intention to apply.
Mr. A (43, male), a resident of Seowon-gu, Cheongju, said, "I have been watching this complex for a long time because it is located in the heart of Cheongju, close to major infrastructure, and the area is transforming into a new city, which means its future value is excellent. Especially after seeing the units in person, I am even more satisfied because, as expected from a big-brand complex, there is no wasted space and the actual living area is spacious, with careful attention paid to every finishing material."
Similarly, Ms. B (39, female), a resident of Heungdeok-gu, Cheongju, who visited with her child, said, "As a housewife, I paid close attention to the kitchen. I liked that each type had its own unique charm, with practical and efficient layouts, L- and U-shaped kitchens, island tables, island cabinets, and pantries. The location is excellent, and among all the model houses I have recently visited, this one stands out the most in terms of product quality, so I am considering using my long-saved subscription account for this opportunity."
In particular, as a large-scale complex with 2,271 units under major brand names, the expansive landscaping and high-quality community facilities drew significant attention. The complex plans to dedicate over 38,000 square meters to landscaping, more than twice the legal requirement, and will feature a large central plaza, water features, and a circular walking trail. In addition to basic amenities such as a fitness center, GX club, and screen golf, a variety of sports and leisure facilities will be provided, including indoor golf, a multipurpose gymnasium, climbing, squash, Pilates, a library studio, private reading rooms, shared offices, a putting green, and a sauna.
Notably, sky lounges will be created on the 29th floor of A-1BL and the 27th floor of A-2BL, allowing residents to enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area, the complex's large central park, and landscaping, offering both scenery and relaxation. The exterior of the complex will feature a curtain wall look, commonly seen in luxury apartments, and various amenities for residents' convenience, such as a dry car wash facility and unit storage. There will also be a drop-off zone to ensure a safe commuting environment for children, which are important features to note.
Ms. C (58, female), who visited the model house from Jeungpyeong-gun, Chungbuk, said, "My current apartment is a small complex, so there is a lack of community facilities and it is not easy to walk or take a stroll within the complex. Since this is a large-scale complex with over 2,000 units, it offers ample landscaping and community design, making it a great place to live."
A sales representative stated, "Cheongju Centum Prugio Xi is a complex that combines location, future value, and differentiated product quality, so people of all ages, from those in their 20s to seniors, and both end-users and investors, have visited the model house in large numbers. As a 2,271-unit complex built by Daewoo E&C and GS E&C, it is set to become a landmark in the area, and we expect strong competition in the upcoming application process."
Located in Sajik-dong, Seowon-gu, Cheongju, Chungbuk, 'Cheongju Centum Prugio Xi' will consist of 22 buildings with 2 basement levels and up to 29 above-ground floors, totaling 2,271 units. Of these, 1,538 units with exclusive areas ranging from 59 to 145 square meters will be available for general sale.
The application schedule begins with special supply on August 4, followed by first-priority applications on August 5 and second-priority applications on August 6. Successful applicants will be announced on August 12, and formal contracts will be signed over three days from August 23 to August 25.
Anyone aged 19 or older who resides in Chungcheongbuk-do or Cheongju and meets the requirements of a 6-month subscription account period and the minimum deposit may apply, regardless of home ownership. Both heads of households and household members are eligible, and all family members within the same household may apply. Multi-homeowners may also apply for first-priority. There are no restrictions on re-winning, and there are no mandatory occupancy or resale restrictions.
The model house is located in Sajik-dong, Seowon-gu, Cheongju. Move-in is scheduled for December 2028.
