One-stop Processing of Permits for Construction, Development, Environment, and More
Jindo County in South Jeolla Province announced on July 28 that it will officially implement a "pre-reservation system for complex administrative services" starting in August, aiming to reduce inconvenience for applicants regarding complex permits in areas such as construction, farmland, and environment.
Until now, complex administrative services often required consultation among two or more departments, which meant applicants had to visit each department individually. This resulted in difficulties in administrative services due to the absence of responsible staff or delays in coordination.
The pre-reservation system for complex administrative services introduced by the county allows applicants to schedule a prior consultation for cases requiring expertise and coordination, enabling them to handle their request with a single visit. Through this system, the county aims to reduce repeat visits by applicants and enhance administrative efficiency.
The eligible services include permits related to construction, development activities, farmland, environment, and sanitation. The system will also be linked to the pre-examination request system. Applicants can make consultation reservations by visiting the Jindo County Office or township offices, by phone, through the county's website, or via the visiting permit consultation service. Once a request is received, the relevant departments will conduct a preliminary review and consultation, then provide the applicant with information on the processing procedures, expected timeframes, and required documents.
A county official stated, "The pre-reservation system for complex administrative services will establish an accurate and prompt processing system, increase resident satisfaction, and help realize trusted administration," adding, "We will continue to actively promote resident-centered administrative services."
