Signing of Business Agreement
Korea Credit Guarantee Fund (KODIT) and Shinhan Bank announced on the 28th that they had signed a "Business Agreement for the Promotion of Infrastructure Finance" on the 23rd.
This agreement was established to promote infrastructure finance by building a public-private cooperation model that combines KODIT's regionally-focused infrastructure consulting services with Shinhan Bank's expertise in financial support. KODIT will provide comprehensive consulting for regionally-focused private investment projects that are highly public in nature but difficult to pursue due to low profitability, while Shinhan Bank will be responsible for financial advisory services, such as funding arrangements, to support the successful implementation of these projects.
A KODIT representative stated, "Through this agreement, a foundation has been established for systematic provision of tailored consulting and financial advisory services needed for regional infrastructure projects," and added, "KODIT will continue to strive to deliver tangible results that contribute to public convenience and improvement of quality of life."
