Gumico to Host '2025 Petcation' for Pet Owners and Their Companion Animals

Gumico, the representative exhibition center in Gumi, North Gyeongsang Province, announced on July 27 that it has prepared a special festival this summer for pet owners and their companion animals.

Kim Jangho, mayor of Gumi, Gu Ja-geun, member of the National Assembly, and other officials visited GumiCO, where the large-scale comprehensive exhibition "2025 Petcance," featuring more than 50 pet industry companies nationwide, is being held.

This fair is an experiential festival where visitors can discover pet-related products and services all in one place. Specialized, customized programs such as health check-ups, grooming, and behavioral correction consultations will be offered. Additionally, a variety of experiential zones have been prepared for families to enjoy together, including an obstacle course for dogs, an outdoor swimming pool, and a unique animal experience zone. It offers an urban vacation where children, adults, and pets alike can all be the main characters.

Recently, Gumi City has been expanding local infrastructure such as water play areas, barefoot walking paths, and sports centers, accelerating the creation of "Seulsegwon" (Slipper Lifestyle Zone) cultural spaces. In this context of change, the upcoming Petcation is drawing attention as an urban summer vacation model that can be enjoyed together with companion animals.
