On July 27, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that it will officially launch the recruitment for the "5th Mirinae Jip" with 485 units on July 28, and will accept applications for two days, from August 11 to 12.
The number of units supplied by complex is as follows: Cheongdam L'Ell 49㎡, 15 units; The Sharp Gangdong Central City 59㎡, 3 units and 84㎡, 8 units; ePyeonhansesang Gangdong Prestige One 44㎡, 22 units; Magok M Valley 17th Complex 59㎡, 183 units and 84㎡, 13 units; Hillstate Jangseungbaegi Station 44㎡, 51 units and 59㎡, 15 units; Jamsil Raemian I'Park 43㎡, 109 units and 59㎡, 66 units.
The jeonse deposit ranges from a minimum of 330 million won (Hillstate Jangseungbaegi Station 44㎡ in Dongjak-gu) to a maximum of 770 million won (Cheongdam L'Ell 49㎡ in Gangnam-gu). For complexes with a large supply, Magok M Valley 59㎡ is 493.74 million won, and Jamsil Raemian I'Park 59㎡ is 749.58 million won. Detailed information can be found in the SH Corporation tenant recruitment notice.
Eligibility is limited to newlywed couples who have registered their marriage within the past seven years, or engaged couples who can prove their marriage before the move-in date. Both spouses must not have owned a home within five years as of the announcement date.
Previously, engaged couples had to prove their marriage within six months of the announcement date. However, since it often takes more than six months for winners to move in due to delays in completion dates, the proof period has been extended to allow engaged couples to provide proof of marriage up until the move-in date.
Mirinae Jip is a housing policy aimed at addressing low birth rates and providing housing stability for newlywed couples planning to have children. If a child is born, the residence period can be extended up to 20 years, and tenants are given the opportunity to purchase the unit at a price below market value. During the fourth round of recruitment held in April, the average competition rate was 64 to 1.
In August, the city will newly recruit over 100 non-apartment-type Mirinae Jip units. The "Mirinae Jip Linked Purchase Lease Housing" type was created to expand options for newlywed couples who have difficulty raising the deposit for new apartments. This type is linked with purchased lease housing such as residential officetels and urban lifestyle housing. If a child is born while residing, tenants are given priority to apply for long-term jeonse housing after 10 years of residence.
The Mirinae Jip Linked Purchase Lease Housing will be supplied as high-quality living spaces favored by newlywed couples, featuring convenient locations and upgraded built-in appliances.
Choi Jinseok, Director of Housing for the Seoul Metropolitan Government, stated, "We will do our best to accelerate redevelopment and reconstruction through deregulation and public support so that Mirinae Jip can be supplied quickly."
