Gyeongnam Nonghyup visited livestock farms in Samga-myeon, Hapcheon-gun, which suffered severe damage due to heavy rainfall, to provide manpower support for recovery efforts.
On July 26, more than 50 executives and employees participated in the volunteer work, including Ryu Gilnyeon, head of Gyeongnam Nonghyup, Lim Dogon, vice president of Nonghyup Life, Kang Mungyu, head of Changnyeong Training Center, Do Kimun, head of Hapcheon-gun branch, and Kim Jinseok, head of Hapcheon Saenambu Nonghyup. From July 16 to July 19, Hapcheon-gun in Gyeongnam Province experienced record-breaking rainfall, with an average of 502mm and a maximum of 712mm. This led to river flooding, farmland inundation, and damage to agricultural facilities, resulting in a variety of damages.
Ryu Gilnyeon, head of Gyeongnam Nonghyup, said, "I visited the site to offer some support to farmers who are suffering due to the flood damage," and added, "We will continue to provide field-oriented support so that affected farmers can return to their daily lives as soon as possible."
