Water Main Burst in Bukahyeon-dong, Seoul: Restoration Underway, Nearby Areas to Face Water Outage Until 9 p.m.

At approximately 7:40 a.m. on July 26, a water main near a middle school in Bukahyeon-dong, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul burst.

Seodaemun-gu is currently working to repair the ruptured water main.

In a disaster alert text sent to residents of Chungjeongno 2-ga, Chungjeongno 3-ga, Hap-dong, Migeun-dong, Daehyeon-dong, Daesin-dong, Sinchon-dong, Bongwon-dong, and Changcheon-dong, Seodaemun-gu requested that residents prepare for a water outage by securing drinking water, as water supply is expected to be suspended from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
