Sejong Dalbit Children's Hospital Extends Operating Hours on Weekends and Holidays

In order to ensure continuity of pediatric care during nights and weekends, the weekend night clinic hours at Wellkids Pediatric Clinic, a Dalbit Children's Hospital, will be extended by one hour. Located in Areum-dong, Wellkids Pediatric Clinic was re-designated on July 1 through a city contest as a hospital that provides outpatient care for children with mild illnesses during nighttime and weekends, thereby helping to alleviate overcrowding in the local emergency medical system.

According to Sejong City on July 25, with the extended clinic hours, the hospital will now operate year-round from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on weekdays, and from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on weekends and public holidays, which is an extension of one hour.

The three Dalbit Cooperative Pharmacies affiliated with Dalbit Children's Hospital?Aram Pharmacy, Areum Su Pharmacy, and Malgeum Pharmacy?will also extend their weekend operating hours by one hour in the same way.

Kang Changsoo, Director of Infectious Disease Control, stated, "We expect that extending clinic hours will not only alleviate inconvenience for citizens but also play an important role in supplementing the local pediatric emergency medical system by dispersing children with mild illnesses," and added, "We will continue our efforts to establish a seamless pediatric emergency care system."
