DL E&C announced on July 25 that it has been selected as the preferred negotiation partner for the Gwangmyeong Siheung private participation public housing construction project, commissioned by Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH). The total project cost amounts to 812 billion KRW.
DL E&C participated as part of a consortium that includes Gyeryong Construction Industry, and will serve as the lead company, securing a 55% stake (446.6 billion KRW).

The project site is located in the Noonsa-dong area of Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi Province (Gwangmyeong Siheung District, 3rd New Town), specifically at blocks S1-10 and B1-3. The plan is to build a total of 2,716 apartment units across 19 buildings, ranging from two basement floors to 29 above-ground floors, along with various community facilities.
At block S1-10, 1,568 units of the "New:Home Standard Type" with exclusive areas of 59 and 84 square meters will be supplied. At block B1-3, 1,148 units of the "New:Home Sharing Type" with an exclusive area of 84 square meters will be provided. The construction period is 36 months after groundbreaking.
