Expansion to Three Philippine Routes Including Bohol and Boracay
Air Busan, led by CEO Jung Byungsub, resumed operations on the Busan-Cebu route starting July 25.
The Cebu route will operate once daily until the end of this month, and from August, the frequency will increase to twice daily. With this resumption, Air Busan's routes from Busan to the Philippines have expanded to three: Cebu, Bohol, and Boracay (Kalibo).
The outbound flight from Busan departs Gimhae Airport at 9:55 PM and arrives in Cebu at 1:30 AM the following day. The return flight departs Cebu at 2:25 AM and arrives at Gimhae Airport at 8:00 AM. An A321 aircraft with a capacity of 220 seats is deployed on this route, and the flight time is approximately 4 hours and 35 minutes.
An Air Busan representative stated, "Cebu is a leading resort destination where travelers can enjoy a variety of marine sports and activities," and added, "We will continue to focus on safe operations and service improvements for customer convenience."
This resumption of service was carried out as a behavioral measure in accordance with the conditions set by the Fair Trade Commission's approval of a corporate merger.
