The Government Public Officials Ethics Committee disclosed the assets of 54 individuals, including former President Yoon Suk-yeol, on July 25. This asset disclosure targeted high-ranking public officials whose status changed between April 2 and May 1.

Former President Yoon reported assets totaling 7,991,150,000 won, the highest among retirees. This amount increased by 510,030,000 won from the 7,481,120,000 won reported in March of last year. The value of the 26-square-meter (approximately 8 pyeong) land share and 164-square-meter (approximately 50 pyeong) building in Acro Vista, Seocho-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, owned under the name of Kim Keonhee, rose by about 380,000,000 won compared to the previous year, reaching 1,948,000,000 won.

Former President Yoon's asset report as a retiree was originally scheduled for March. However, as he was in detention at the time, he was granted a deferral, resulting in this month's disclosure.

Among current high-ranking public officials, Lee Junil, Ambassador to Iraq, reported the highest assets at 5,279,160,000 won.
