10,000 Safety Umbrellas Distributed in 4 Years... Ecopro Takes Responsibility for 'Pohang Children's Traffic Safety'

1,500 Traffic Safety Umbrellas Donated
to 48 Daycare Centers in Pohang

Ecopro is conducting a traffic safety campaign to ensure safe routes to and from school for children in the Pohang area.

On July 23, a ceremony for the donation of traffic safety umbrellas to create a safer environment for children in Pohang was held at Doumteo Daycare Center. The event was attended by representatives from the Green Umbrella ChildFund Korea Gyeongbuk Regional Office and local daycare centers in Pohang.

Since 2022, Ecopro has been continuously collaborating with the Green Umbrella ChildFund Korea to produce and distribute traffic safety umbrellas for children in Pohang.

This year, in particular, the company expanded the scope of support from lower-grade elementary school students to include daycare children, aiming to raise social awareness about the issue of low birth rates.

Through this donation ceremony, a total of 1,500 traffic safety umbrellas were delivered to 48 daycare centers in Pohang, including Doumteo Daycare Center, Nature Daycare Center, Cotton Candy Daycare Center, and Heunghae Daycare Center.

As a result, over the past four years, a total of 10,200 traffic safety umbrellas have been distributed to elementary schools, kindergartens, and daycare centers in Pohang, marking a meaningful achievement.

An Ecopro representative stated, "For several years, we have distributed traffic safety umbrellas in the Pohang area together with the Green Umbrella ChildFund Korea," and added, "We will continue to strive to carry out various support activities for local children."
