This agreement was established to build a cooperative system for providing agricultural products from Anseong to Gwangmyeong's public meal services and welfare projects. It also aims to expand urban-rural exchanges and win-win policies, thereby fostering regional economic growth and enhancing citizen welfare.

Through this agreement, starting next year, Anseong will supply seasonal fruits produced in the region to Gwangmyeong's support programs for elderly residents living alone and as snacks for after-school care classes at elementary schools. In addition, a direct sales market for Anseong farmers will be set up during Gwangmyeong's festivals, and a variety of rural experience programs in Anseong will be offered free of charge to Gwangmyeong citizens.

Park Seungwon, Mayor of Gwangmyeong, stated, "Both municipalities will work together to expand the consumption of local agricultural products in the public sector and to increase citizen welfare." Kim Bora, Mayor of Anseong, also said, "This agreement is more than just supplying agricultural products?it is the first step for both cities to jointly create a virtuous cycle of healthy food."

Going forward, the two cities plan to develop collaborative projects in various fields such as public meal services, urban agriculture, and citizen experience programs, with the aim of establishing a sustainable model for urban-rural exchange.
