According to Jeonju University on July 24, this special exhibition was planned in collaboration with the Namwon Agricultural Technology Center to widely promote the excellence of Namwon Baekhyanggwa, grown in the pristine nature of Jirisan, and to enhance the brand value of local agricultural specialties.

This exhibition is a collaborative model between academia, industry, and government, involving the Hansik Promotion Institute, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Namwon City, and Jeonju University. Going beyond simple product promotion, it is designed to allow visitors to experience the cultural value and potential uses of Baekhyanggwa. It is attracting attention as an innovative case of cooperation where the public sector, private sector, and academia have joined forces to expand the brand of local agricultural products.

At the exhibition site, fresh Namwon Baekhyanggwa, various processed products, and goods featuring the Baekhyanggwa character 'Baekhyangi' will be on display. Visitors can experience the charm of Baekhyanggwa with all five senses, with diffusers and perfumes infused with Baekhyanggwa scent placed throughout the venue, and three-dimensional models of Baekhyanggwa added to vividly convey the essence of Namwon Baekhyanggwa.

In addition, a variety of experiential programs are prepared, including tastings of fresh and processed Namwon Baekhyanggwa products and cooking classes using Namwon Baekhyanggwa, offering visitors the opportunity to directly experience the new value of local agricultural products.

Kim Suin, a professor in the Department of Korean Cuisine at Jeonju University, stated, "This special exhibition was planned as a convergence platform to promote Namwon's excellent agricultural products and local resources through a gastronomic space and exhibition content centered on Namwon Baekhyanggwa, going beyond a simple display," and added, "We hope it will become a model case that creates synergy between local agriculture, tourism, and the content industry."
