'Cheonggaeguri Totto and the Mischievous Kids'... Free Admission
The Jeonju Municipal Theater Company in North Jeolla Province will present the reading play 'Man and Woman Reading Books - Cheonggaeguri Totto and the Mischievous Kids' at the Deokjin Arts Center on July 31 to mark 'Culture Day in July'.
According to the city on July 24, this performance has been organized to inspire dreams and hope in children and to expand opportunities for families to enjoy cultural experiences together.
This performance is structured as a vivid and lively reading play based on familiar traditional fairy tales and original stories. In the first part of the performance, three stories?Cheonggaeguri Iyagi (The Green Frog Story), Jack and the Beanstalk, and The Sun and the Moon?will be staged as reading plays. The second part will feature a special appearance by Clown Song, who will present a clown mime performance that combines pantomime and magic.
Deokjin Arts Center offers a variety of free performances on the last Wednesday of each month for 'Culture Day' to provide citizens with diverse cultural benefits. Until November, various performances organized by the Jeonju Municipal Arts Troupes (Symphony Orchestra, Choir, Korean Traditional Music Orchestra, Theater Company) are scheduled.
No Eunyoung, Director of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said, "We hope that the warm and delightful reading play presented by the Municipal Theater Company will help children become more familiar with books and foster their imagination and sensitivity. We ask for your continued interest and participation in the 'Culture Day' performances."
Meanwhile, the upcoming 'Man and Woman Reading Books' performance, held as part of Culture Day, is free for everyone to attend. Tickets can be reserved through the Naru Culture website or by phone.
