Differentiation Through Specialized Design
Hoban Construction announced on July 24 that it is currently selling units in "WePark Jeju," which will be located near Odeungbong Park in Jeju City.
This apartment complex consists of 28 buildings with 1,401 units in total, ranging from three basement levels to 15 floors above ground, making it the largest privately sold residential complex in the Jeju region. The units are primarily medium to large-sized, with exclusive floor areas between 84 and 197 square meters. Complex 1 contains 686 units, while Complex 2 has 715 units.
The complex was developed as part of Jeju City's urban park (Odeungbong) private special development project. The total site area is approximately 760,000 square meters, and the complex is classified as a "Gongsegwon" development, meaning both an apartment complex and an ecological park are planned together. Cultural facilities such as an art center, concert hall, and library will be established between the buildings.
The location is adjacent to major public institutions and amenities, including Jeju Provincial Government, Jeju Government Complex, E-Mart, and Lotte Mart. The entire Jeju City area and Jeju International Airport are easily accessible via Yeonbuk-ro and Onam-ro.
The complex features a south-facing layout and a four-bay plate-type design (varies by unit type) that allows for cross-ventilation. Glass railings and open balconies (in select unit types) have been introduced to maximize views and a sense of openness. Residents can enjoy views of Hallasan, Odeungbong Park, and the ocean.
Paid options include variable walls and kitchens in '=' or 'L' shapes. Some unit types are equipped with large dressing rooms, entrance pantries, and alpha rooms. The parking ratio is 1.8 vehicles per household.
The complex also offers a variety of community facilities. In addition to a fitness center, indoor golf practice range, small library, children's library, and a group childcare center, a cafe lounge and a screen swimming pool are also planned.
In last year's subscription process, 5,703 people applied for 1,260 available units, resulting in an average competition ratio of 4.53 to 1. A sales representative stated, "As the real estate market in Jeju City is showing signs of recovery, some unit types have already sold out, and the remaining units are also being quickly taken."
The model home is located near the Hanra Library in Ora-dong, Jeju City.
