Gyeonggi Fire Conducts 'Integrity Job Training' for Hearing and Human Rights Officers on the 22nd

The Gyeonggi Fire and Disaster Headquarters is taking steps to strengthen discipline and integrity within the public service.

On July 22, the Gyeonggi Fire and Disaster Headquarters announced that it had conducted job training for hearing and human rights officers, who serve as inspection managers at fire stations within the province. The training emphasized their roles and responsibilities, shared cases of misconduct, and highlighted exemplary cases from each station, all with the aim of further enhancing discipline and integrity among public officials.

The training focused on the core roles of inspection managers, measures to strengthen discipline within the public service, and strategies to eradicate abuse of power and misconduct.

Kim Jaebyung, Chief of the Gyeonggi Fire and Disaster Headquarters, stated, "If we neglect even small cracks, the entire organization can be shaken. Inspection managers must be vigilant and never remain silent," adding, "Since the public does not overlook even minor changes in the attitudes of public officials, Gyeonggi Fire must set an example first."

With this training as a starting point, the Gyeonggi Fire and Disaster Headquarters plans to further advance a continuous inspection system led by inspection managers, expand practical institutional innovations such as enhanced on-site communication and voluntary integrity self-assessments, and transform itself into an 'integrity-leading organization trusted by provincial residents.'
