Kumho Tire to Supply Original Equipment Tires for Kia Tasman

On July 23, Kumho Tire announced that it will supply original equipment (OE) tires for Kia's new pickup truck, the Tasman.

The Kumho Tire 'Crugen HT51' supplied for the Tasman is an all-season tire designed for both sport utility vehicles (SUVs) and pickup trucks. This product is supplied for vehicles exported to various regions, including Korea, Australia, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

The Crugen HT51 is an all-terrain tire designed for both on-road and off-road use, allowing for stable driving over long periods even in harsh road conditions and diverse weather. It incorporates optimal technology to provide a comfortable and quiet ride on paved roads, as well as strong off-road driving performance.

This tire features a pattern block design that disperses noise components to ensure quietness, tailored to the characteristics of the vehicle. It also enhances handling and braking performance through the block rigidity and arrangement of the tread (the tire surface that contacts the road). In addition, the tire applies tread 3D block design technology and a kerf (groove) shape for snow performance, which improves braking and handling on snowy roads. As a result, it is characterized by effective driving capability in a variety of weather conditions throughout all seasons.
