In 2015, when she was 32 years old, Daniel Steirun received a job offer to work as a cabin crew member on a private jet. The position appeared perfect on the surface, promising an annual salary in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, luxury resort travel, and comprehensive benefits. However, the reality was completely different. During the interview, the employer set a condition: "You have to participate in sexual parties on the plane." The employer said, "We only bring those girls on once a month. So you don't have to be a lesbian, you just need to 'have fun together.'"

On the 21st (local time), the New York Post reported that "Steirun has published a memoir titled 'The Mile High Club: Confessions of a Private Jet Flight Attendant,' recounting her seven years of flying with upper-class clients," and featured an interview with her. 'Mile High Club' is a slang term referring to people who have sex aboard an aircraft in flight.
Steirun did not accept the interview that demanded sexual relations. However, she still encountered all sorts of super-rich individuals. One passenger shouted at her for not having a specific brand of tequila that he had not even requested in advance, and during turbulence, another pushed her against the cabin wall, claiming his pet was traumatized.

The most absurd experience was when she was asked to procure champagne in Saint Martin, in the West Indies, which had suffered severe damage from a hurricane. At the time, all she could think was, "There is nowhere to get champagne here. A massive hurricane just passed. People are lining up for a loaf of bread, and I'm supposed to spend $20,000 on champagne?" There was only one supermarket on Saint Martin, and she searched there for champagne.
One male client flew with his pregnant wife one day, and then a few days later, flew with his girlfriend. Steirun said, "Some men own several jets, have beautiful wives, and have everything, yet they are obsessed with hair transplants. Honestly, who even cares about their hair?"

As the book's title suggests, some passengers did have sex during flights. She said, "According to the manual, we would move to the front of the cabin, and after the guests finished, we would clean up afterward." She explained, "Usually, it happens in the bathroom, the kitchen, or on the sofa. It's their 'house,' after all. A private jet is basically a living room in the sky." Steirun has since left the aviation industry and returned to her original profession. She now runs a skincare business in Manhattan.
