Suncheon City in South Jeolla Province announced on the 22nd that it has launched the 'Blue Workation' package in collaboration with the Jeonnam Tourism Foundation, connecting it with the Garden Workation space, and has been operating it since April.
'Blue Workation' is a program that utilizes Jeonnam's pristine tourism resources, offering a Jeonnam-style workation package where participants can enjoy both work and relaxation. It is available to employees of companies based outside the Jeonnam region.
By booking the Suncheon Garden Workation through Jeonnam Blue Workation, participants can receive various benefits. Accommodation at the Garden Workation can be reserved at a discounted rate of up to 100,000 won per night, and guests can use workspaces with garden views during their stay.
An official from the city stated, "The Garden Workation is located within Suncheonman National Garden, allowing guests to heal their tired bodies and minds in nature and focus on work at a relaxed pace." The official added, "We plan to continue developing a variety of programs, including easily accessible short-term travel packages and one-day class events."
