Gyeonggi Province to Launch 'Visiting Fair Trade Education' for Young Entrepreneurs Starting in August

Gyeonggi Province will conduct 'Visiting Fair Trade Education' from August to October to support fair and safe business activities for young entrepreneurs.

The training will target approximately 550 individuals, including about 250 university students who are preparing to start their own businesses while participating in entrepreneurship-related departments and clubs within the province, as well as about 300 young entrepreneurs participating in the 'Gyeonggi Youth Startup One-Step' program promoted by the Gyeonggi Market Commercial Area Promotion Agency.

For this training, Gyeonggi Province will invite investigators with extensive practical experience in fair trade-related counseling and dispute mediation to serve as instructors. They will provide practical information that can be immediately applied in the field, such as precautions when drafting contracts and response strategies in case of unfair trade damages.

Seo Bongja, Director of the Fair Economy Division of Gyeonggi Province, stated, "Through this training, we hope that young entrepreneurs will be able to experience a fair trade culture from the early stages of their startups and receive practical help in preventing damages caused by unfair trade."

Meanwhile, the Fair Trade Support Center operated by Gyeonggi Province has four investigators who provide counseling and dispute mediation for small and medium-sized business owners on fair trade-related issues, including not only franchise business dispute mediation but also agency, subcontracting, large-scale distribution, and general unfair trade cases.
