SK AX to Accelerate Support for Global SMEs' Transition to Carbon Neutrality

Strengthening Carbon Emissions Management Capabilities with 'Click ESG'

SK AX has partnered with the Asia-Europe SME Eco-Innovation Center (ASEIC) to support the transition to carbon neutrality for domestic and international small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises.

On July 22, SK AX announced that it had signed a business agreement (MOU) with ASEIC at its headquarters in Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi Province, to support carbon neutrality for domestic and international small and medium-sized enterprises.

ASEIC is a cooperative organization under the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM), established in 2011. It supports eco-friendly technology cooperation and the spread of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices among 51 member countries. Currently, it provides ESG education, consulting, and technology dissemination to over 470 participating companies.

Through this agreement, domestic and international small and medium-sized manufacturing companies struggling with supply chain carbon emissions management will be able to address their challenges using SK AX's digital platform, Click ESG.

Click ESG provides a greenhouse gas inventory management solution that allows companies to set carbon reduction targets and establish and manage implementation plans. Through this solution, companies can register carbon reduction scenarios and annual roadmaps, input key data such as electricity consumption, reduction investment costs, and implementation status, and monitor real-time progress toward targets and key statistical information.

For companies requiring advanced ESG responses, such as climate disclosures and supply chain due diligence, customized diagnostics and consulting are also available. By entering relevant data into the Click ESG platform, companies receive tailored diagnostic results, including industry-specific key indicator analysis, peer benchmarking, and identification of areas for improvement. Subsequent action items can be continuously managed through score-based simulations.

In addition, SK AX offers the Click ISO platform, which helps companies efficiently obtain ISO certifications?the international standards for quality, environment, and occupational health and safety management.

The contents of this agreement will be presented as an official agenda item to government representatives at the ASEIC International Working Group meeting scheduled to be held in Jeju Island this September.

Based on the ASEIC network and SK AX's technological expertise, we will continue to promote global expansion and systematic support."
