This broadcast will take place at 1:00 p.m. on July 23 and will feature salad vegetables grown in a smart farm. In collaboration with Dong Gimje Nonghyup, the products are being offered at special prices to support the distribution of smart farm agricultural goods. A 1kg package, consisting of unique vegetables such as butterhead and frill ice, will be sold for 7,920 won, including shipping.
The salad vegetables from Dong Gimje Nonghyup were first introduced on Gongyoung Labang last year, generating approximately 2 million won in sales over the course of one year. This year, with an on-site live broadcast held in May, the order amount in the first half of the year alone has reached about 20 million won, an elevenfold increase compared to last year.
Gongyoung Home Shopping will once again visit Gimje in person to vividly showcase salad vegetables produced in the smart farm to consumers. Jang Jungtae, a young farmer and producer, will appear on the broadcast to share his story of returning to farming, establishing a smart farm, and settling down. The broadcast will be conducted in the format of Gongyoung Labang's flagship program, 'Amazing Quiz Show.' There will also be an event where customers who participate in real-time chat and answer quiz questions correctly will receive reward points.
A representative from Gongyoung Home Shopping stated, "We have prepared this broadcast to widely promote the excellence of smart farm agricultural products," and added, "We plan to continue introducing a variety of content and local specialties through Gongyoung Labang's on-site live broadcasts this year, so we hope for your continued interest."
