This tournament, held for the first time in nine years since 2016, brought together approximately 450 athletes from across the country, including Seoul, Geoje, Ansan, and Haman, who competed to showcase the skills they have honed over the years.

The opening ceremony on July 18 was attended by Ulleung County Mayor Nam Han-gwon, Ulleung County Council Chairman Lee Sang-sik, North Gyeongsang Provincial Assembly member Nam Jin-bok, and North Gyeongsang Archery Association President Heo Hu-gil, who delivered congratulatory messages. Han Sun-mi, an athlete from Ulleung Mureungjeong, took the oath as the athletes' representative, adding significance to the event.

The competition was divided into team and individual events (senior, veteran, and women’s divisions). In the team event, Jinju Ramdeokjeong took first place, Ulleung Mureungjeong took second, and Yeoju Cheongsimjeong placed third.

In the senior division, Seon Bo-hyun from Ansan Gwangdeokjeong secured first place, while in the women’s division, Shin Jeong-hee from Haman Gaya-jeong claimed the top spot.

In the veteran division, Shin Hyeon-deuk from Geoje Geummujeong and Bae Nam-cheon from Hwasun Seoyangjeong shared second place. The first place in the veteran division was not awarded because the archer who finished first left early, making it impossible to record a score for comparison.

Mayor Nam Han-gwon stated, "This competition served as an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to the Dokdo Love spirit," and added, "I hope archery, a unique traditional cultural heritage of our nation, will become an even more beloved sport."
