This donation will be entrusted to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association and will be used for the restoration of flood-damaged areas and support for disaster victims. In addition to the donation, the group will also provide relief supplies. E-Mart's Jinju branch plans to deliver food items such as water, cup noodles, and Choco Pie-type snacks, as well as daily necessities, to Sancheong-gun and Hapcheon-gun in South Gyeongsang Province, which were severely affected by the heavy rain.

Previously, on July 19, E-Mart delivered emergency relief sets for 500 households to flood victims in the Chungnam region. The emergency relief sets consisted mainly of daily necessities needed by disaster victims, such as towels, toothbrushes, underwear, and sportswear. E-Mart provided these emergency relief sets for disaster support, including floods and fires, through the Korean Red Cross.

Shinsegae Group stated, "As a retail company that meets many customers every day, we empathize with those affected by this flood," and added, "We made a swift decision to provide support so that our customers can return to their daily lives as soon as possible."
