World Vision Chairman Jo Myunghwan participated in the 'Youth Illegal Cyber Gambling Eradication Challenge' to help create a safer digital environment for young people.
Jo Myunghwan joined the challenge after being nominated by Choi Changnam, Chairman of Korea Food for the Hungry International. He, in turn, nominated Oh Joon, Chairman of Save the Children Korea; Yoon Seri, Chairman of OnYul; and Shin Dongyeob, Professor at Yonsei University School of Business, as the next participants.
Jo Myunghwan stated, "The more adept and accustomed young people are to digital media, the more easily they are exposed to dangers such as illegal cyber gambling." He added, "To protect youth from these harmful digital environments, the attention and cooperation of society as a whole are essential." He continued, "World Vision will also continue its efforts to ensure that all children can grow up safely and healthily in digital spaces."
