Carrot announced on the 21st that it has introduced the "Find My Item Price" feature, where artificial intelligence (AI) automatically analyzes items and provides an estimated selling price when a photo is taken. Carrot
This feature can be accessed by updating the Carrot app to the latest version and tapping the purple lens button at the top of the main screen. When users take a picture of an item they wish to sell secondhand with the camera, the AI checks and displays the estimated price for secondhand transactions.
For example, if a user takes a photo of a wireless mouse, the estimated price is shown immediately. If the user selects "Write Listing with AI," the AI analyzes the photo to identify characteristics such as brand, product name, and color, and then automatically generates a title and description. In the storage tab next to the estimated price, users can view a list of items photographed and checked that day, along with the product names and price information suggested by the AI, all at a glance.
A Carrot representative stated, "We will continue to enhance our features so that users of secondhand transactions can experience an easier and more convenient selling process."
