Improved App Payment Accessibility
for Easy Use of Consumption Coupons
on Store Delivery Orders
Baedal Minjok is enhancing the accessibility of its 'Meet and Pay' feature, which allows users to utilize the Min Saeng Recovery Consumption Coupon even for delivery orders, in order to support increased sales for partner restaurants.
Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baemin, announced that starting July 21, the application and distribution of the consumption coupon will begin, and the 'Meet and Pay' category will be placed on the main screen of the Baemin app to make it easier for users to access and use the coupon.
The 'Meet and Pay' feature is a payment method available for 'Store Delivery' orders on the Baemin app. By selecting 'Meet and Pay,' which processes payments through the store’s own terminal, users can use the consumption coupon at small businesses within their local government jurisdiction. Approximately 200,000 stores on the Baemin app support the 'Meet and Pay' feature.
Baemin has decided to temporarily update the app interface so that customers can directly access the 'Meet and Pay' screen from the main page or the food delivery tab. In addition, instructions and important notes for using 'Meet and Pay' will be displayed throughout the app, and the usage conditions will be highlighted again during the cart and order stages.
A Baemin representative stated, "We have enhanced the app's functionality so that customers can conveniently use the Min Saeng Recovery Consumption Coupon even for delivery orders," adding, "We hope that the increased consumption driven by the coupon will also lead to higher sales for Baemin’s partner businesses."
