Hyundai Mobis and Partners Launch Recruitment for 'Mobility SW' Bootcamp

Hyundai Mobis announced on July 21 that it is recruiting participants for the first cohort of the 'Mobius Bootcamp,' a program aimed at nurturing mobility software (SW) talent in collaboration with its partner companies. The initiative is designed to strengthen the SW capabilities of partner companies through intensive training and hands-on practice in mobility SW, while also connecting partners with job seekers to provide opportunities for hiring practical talent.

For the first bootcamp, HR and technical managers from 15 Hyundai Mobis partner companies gathered to develop practical training assignments that reflect real-world issues faced by partners. They will also participate directly in the document screening process to help select candidates that meet each company's specific needs.

The training program spans a total of six months and includes theoretical classes covering both general SW education and mobility-specialized SW courses, as well as virtual environment practice and related practical projects. The curriculum consists of introductory mobility courses such as automotive structure and automotive SW engineering, a general SW component covering programming languages and operating systems, a mobility SW specialization component addressing international automotive SW platform standards such as Autosar, and hands-on projects based on real-world scenarios.

Even after completing the program, participants can retake the course content for up to 24 months, and post-program support such as the issuance of a comprehensive competency report will continue. Job seekers will receive employment consulting, including interview and portfolio management support, and outstanding trainees are guaranteed job opportunities with partner companies. For partner company employees, career path coaching related to the SW development process will be provided.

Eligible applicants include university students in their final semester or graduates from automotive or software-related departments nationwide, as well as current employees of partner companies engaged in SW-related work. The total number of participants to be recruited is 300, consisting of 200 job seekers and 100 current employees. Job seekers can apply via the Hyundai Mobis Mobius Bootcamp recruitment page until the end of August. Applications from current employees will be accepted separately.
