Peru's Diverse Cultural Heritage on Display in Sejong City

A Peru Culture and Tourism Photo Exhibition will be held from July 21 to August 1.

According to Sejong City on July 20, this exhibition is being held in the first-floor lobby of City Hall following a visit in March by H.E. Paul Fernando Duclos Parodi, the Peruvian Ambassador to Korea, who discussed various cooperation measures in areas such as cultural exchange with Mayor Choi Minho.

Through the exhibition, the city aims to introduce citizens to Peru's diverse cultural heritage, traditions, natural landscapes, and tourist attractions, all of which have a deep history, and to further strengthen the foundation for cultural diplomacy and friendly cooperation between the two countries. The exhibition will feature 20 photographs themed around Peru's beautiful nature, culture, and historical sites.

The exhibition will also display mannequins dressed in traditional Peruvian attire and alpaca dolls, along with other items symbolizing Peruvian culture, offering visitors a vivid opportunity to experience local culture. The exhibition is open to the public on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Lee Yongil, Director of Planning and Coordination, said, "We hope this event will provide citizens with an opportunity to newly discover Peru's diverse charms and to understand and respect various cultures."
