Visited 14 States and 7 Countries
President Donald Trump completed nearly 50 trips during his first six months in office.
According to Yonhap News, citing AP on July 20, President Trump made a total of 49 trips in the six months since his inauguration on January 20. The destinations included 14 states within the United States and 7 foreign countries.
This figure is not significantly different from that of former President Joe Biden. After his inauguration in 2021, former President Biden made 45 trips in six months, visiting 17 states and 3 countries.
He traveled to Rome, Italy, to attend the funeral of Pope Francis, participated in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) summit held in the Netherlands, and attended the Group of Seven (G7) summit in Canada.
The most frequently visited location was Florida, with 14 trips. Virginia followed with 13 visits, and New Jersey was visited 8 times. In particular, golf outings were frequent on weekends in places such as Palm Beach, Florida, and Bedminster, New Jersey.
Aside from golf, many domestic trips were related to sports events. He attended the Super Bowl in New Orleans, the Daytona 500 car race in Florida, and the UFC mixed martial arts event in Miami, among others.
As part of his political and policy activities, he held a rally with supporters in Detroit, Michigan in April to mark his 100th day in office, and also visited Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Des Moines, Iowa.
He visited areas affected by natural disasters, including North Carolina, California, and Texas. He also delivered commencement speeches at the United States Military Academy in New York and the University of Alabama.
Since taking office this year, President Trump has met with 25 foreign leaders at the White House. He met several times with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in particular. During his first six months, he signed 165 executive orders. There were a total of six cabinet meetings.
