Lump-Sum Payments Can Be Converted to Up to 6-Month Installments
Cash Advance and Card Loan Interest Rates Reduced by Up to 30%
On July 20, Samsung Card announced that it will provide financial support to customers affected by heavy rain and flood damage.
For affected customers, credit card payments due from this month through September will be eligible for a payment deferral of up to six months.
For domestic transactions of 10,000 won or more included in the scheduled payment amount, customers will be able to pay in installments for up to six months. All interest incurred from installment payments applied for by affected customers will be fully waived.
If affected customers use short-term card loans (cash advances) or long-term card loans (card loans) by the end of September, interest will be reduced by up to 30%. Customers whose long-term card loan matures by the end of September will be able to extend the maturity date.
To receive financial support, customers must submit a damage verification certificate issued by the local government.
