SUV Overturns Down Hill in Gokseong, Driver in His 70s Dies

An accident occurred in Gokseong, South Jeolla Province, where a sports utility vehicle (SUV) rolled down a furrow in a field, resulting in the death of a driver in his 70s.

According to the Gokseong Police Station on July 19, at around 2:50 p.m. the previous day, an SUV driven by Mr. A (74) overturned after rolling down a hill on a road in Jukgok-myeon, Gokseong County, and came to rest below a field. Mr. A was transported to the hospital in cardiac arrest but ultimately passed away.

Although heavy rain fell in Gokseong on July 17, it was reported that on the day of the accident, July 18, the rain had stopped from the morning.

The police are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
