According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, rainfall, which began the previous day and is centered on the southern regions, is expected to reach up to 400 mm.

Gwangju and Jeonnam are forecast to receive between 150 and 300 mm of rain, while Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam are expected to see 100 to 200 mm, with some areas in both regions possibly exceeding 400 mm and 300 mm, respectively. In the Seoul metropolitan area and the mountainous inland regions of Gangwon, 30 to 80 mm of rain (with more than 120 mm in some areas) is expected by the morning of the 20th, while the five West Sea islands are forecast to receive 5 to 40 mm during the same period.

Morning lows are forecast to range from 22 to 25 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs between 28 and 32 degrees Celsius.

Fine dust concentrations are expected to remain at 'good' levels in all regions, due to smooth atmospheric dispersion and the effects of precipitation.

Wave heights are expected to be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the coastal waters of the East and South Seas, and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the coastal waters of the West Sea.

In the offshore areas (distant seas within approximately 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the East and South Seas, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the West Sea.
