On July 18, Lee Chanwoo, Chairman of NH Nonghyup Financial Group, personally visited a farm in the southern region of Gyeonggi Province together with Park Kyungshik, Head of Ansan Nonghyup, to inspect the site and listen to concerns. This visit took place in a situation where frequent natural disasters such as recent heatwaves and heavy rains have caused significant damage to crops and the livestock industry as a whole.
Chairman Lee Chanwoo, who has consistently emphasized the importance of field sites and customer voices, initiated this visit following his inspection of wildfire damage in the North Gyeongsang region in April. His aim was to request efforts to minimize damage from anticipated natural disasters in the future and to develop support measures.
At the site, Chairman Lee stated, "We will conduct prompt damage assessments and provide financial support to affected farms." He carefully inspected various areas of the site and urged that efforts be focused on implementing preventive measures against natural disasters and conducting swift damage assessments in the event of a disaster to minimize recovery time.
He then visited the Gyeonggi Regional Headquarters of Nonghyup and the IT Integration Center in succession, emphasizing the importance of strengthening communication with local sites and ensuring the stable operation of the computer systems.
NH Nonghyup Financial Group plans to continue strengthening its role in supporting agriculture and rural communities, and will continuously seek various support measures that can provide practical assistance in recovering from damage caused by various natural disasters.
