Fantoo Launches Eco-Friendly Platform with Seoul Marina Featuring 'Birthday Voting' Theme

Fantoo Launches Eco-Friendly Platform with Seoul Marina Featuring 'Birthday Voting' Theme

FNS&fantoo, the official operator of Hallyu Network, announced on July 18 that it has acquired the trademark rights and character rights of Fantoo as a new corporation and will officially launch the 'FANTOO' app on July 20.

Through the 'FANTOO' app, global Hallyu fans from 175 countries can participate in voting for Hallyu stars with August birthdays, such as G-Dragon, Jang Wonyoung, and Tiffany, among 30 Hallyu stars selected by the company.

FNS&fantoo plans to hold a celebratory performance under the theme 'FANTOO is back' at Hangang Marina M Park. The event will feature performances including Nanta, B-boying, and beatboxing.

According to the company, FANTOO is an app developed for over 100 million Hallyu fans both in Korea and abroad. It was created to promote Hallyu culture worldwide beyond K-pop and to provide users with entertainment and opportunities for interaction.

FANTOO has integrated birthday voting, RE100, NFT, and blockchain, with Seoul Marina as the backdrop. Users can exchange or donate rewards earned through eco-friendly activities, accumulated mileage, and points. The company also announced plans to collaborate with Fantoo House, which features coffee shops, screen golf, convenience stores, fast food outlets, convention centers, wedding halls, and performance venues. The Fantoo House website will open on July 20.

Through the website, users can reserve various services such as yacht rides, helicopter rides, screen golf, and wedding halls. The company also plans to provide tokens and coins as rewards for eco-friendly activities to citizens visiting the Han River. A MarinaPASS, which can be used within Seoul Marina using the awarded tokens and coins, is also under development.

The top voter in this event will receive exposure on the Seoul Marina electronic billboard, have their photo displayed on a Seoul Marina yacht, and be offered a drone show using the tokens and coins they have earned.

Meanwhile, FNS&fantoo has remodeled Seoul Marina so that users can experience the FANTOO app both online and offline. At Seoul Marina, enough space has been prepared for visitors to enjoy Chimaek, the most popular Hallyu food among foreigners, against the beautiful marina backdrop. The newly renovated marina view service area, spanning from the first to the fourth floor, offers a variety of services on each floor.

Lee Sunwoo, the CEO leading the project, personally resolved issues related to the Seoul Marina retention right and occupancy through direct investment last year. Lee Sunbin, co-CEO of Marine Island, also made a direct contribution to resolving the retention right issue at Seoul Marina.

A representative from FNS&fantoo stated, "Through Fantoo, a global Hallyu platform without boundaries of nation, language, or generation, we aim to provide a platform offering unique Hallyu content unavailable anywhere else in the world," and added, "Just as Hallyu culture is spreading worldwide through investment, shopping, payments, and live features within the app, we will continue to expand our platform business areas."
