Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation Holds "Social Economy Enterprise Job Matching Day" in Suwon and Uijeongbu

The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation held the "Social Economy Enterprise Job Matching Day" on July 15 in Uijeongbu and on July 17 in Suwon, aiming to support practical employment connections between social economy enterprises in the province and baby boomers.

The Social Economy Enterprise Job Matching Day is a field-oriented recruitment event where job seekers aged 40 to 64 and social economy enterprises meet directly to submit resumes and conduct one-on-one interviews.

A total of 36 companies and about 210 job seekers participated in the two events, where interviews were held to facilitate practical employment connections.

In total, more than 110 on-site interviews were conducted during the events. Of these, 73 candidates passed the first round of interviews, and 7 individuals were hired on the spot. Those who passed the first round will proceed to a second interview or an internship process. Companies that select interns will receive wage support of 3.6 million won per person. This initiative, which links the experience of the baby boomer generation to the realization of social value, is significant in that "recruitment itself becomes a contribution to society."

Yoon Deokryong, CEO of the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation, stated, "This matching day, where experienced middle-aged professionals and companies pursuing social value came together in one place, was a meaningful platform for connection that served as a new starting point for both sides, going beyond simple recruitment." He added, "We will continue to strengthen job linkage models that connect baby boomers with the social economy ecosystem."
